A NEW energy company is calling on the States to introduce a cash incentive to encourage Guernsey’s population to embrace solar technology.

STUDIES indicate that it is viable to install 10 wind turbines off Guernsey’s north coast to produce 30% of the island’s electricity needs.

STANDING in front of an audience of practitioners and regulators, the ebullient Digby, Lord Jones of Birmingham told them: ‘My personal view is that you will not deliver for your grandchildren if you rely completely on financial services.’
