ONE of the oldest records of the Beau Sejour Barracudas’ Specsavers Series has been broken by 11-year-old Louis Tostevin.

MILES MUNRO recorded the fastest time of the day in the 400m freestyle event of the Specsavers Series staged by the Beau Sejour Barracudas.

TOM HOLLINGSWORTH and Courtney Butcher produced the fastest times of the day in the 200m backstroke event of the Specsavers Series hosted by the Beau Sejour Barracudas Swimming Club.

MILES MUNRO set a new championship record in the 100m freestyle event of the Specsavers Series, staged by the Beau Sejour Barracudas Swimming Club, with an impressive time of 54.13sec. making his time the fastest of the day from the boys.

OLYMPIC medallists Steve Parry and Keri-Anne Payne proved to be inspirational on their visit to the Beau Sejour Barracudas.

MILES MUNRO has produced some record-breaking performances to become the Hampshire champion in his age group.

THE snow and a 7.30am start did not deter the eager Beau Sejour Barracudas distance swimmers from competing in the club’s annual 800m and 1,500m championships.
