GUERNSEY’S lay representative has defended his decision to vote against a move to allow women bishops.

GUERNSEY’S lay representative at the General Synod voted against a move to allow women bishops, but insisted that reflected the majority feeling of church officials in the island.  

RATEPAYERS will have more say in parish churches and rectories after reforms were passed by the States this morning.
