A STRONG contingent of Guernsey’s top riders travelled to Jersey for the Jersey Town Centre Criterium and 90km Road Race.

IN A week where Great Britain rider Mark Cavendish had been dominating the sprint stages of the Giro d’Italia, Stuart Le Tissier showed similar dominance in the Guernsey Velo Club’s criterium at Delancey Park strengthening his position as the island’s top crit rider.

A TRADEMARK sprint finish saw Stuart Le Tissier take the win in Thursday’s Delancey criterium.

IN A season which so far had been dominated by junior riders, veteran Nick Mann upstaged them all with a brilliant tactical display at the Delancey Park track.

ON THE weekend Tobyn Horton won another road race in Belgium, youngster James McLaughlin was shining as the sole Guernsey rider in a prestigious stage of the Isle of Man Youth Tour.
