PHOTOGRAPHERS from around the world have signed up to take part in this year’s Guernsey Photography Festival.

JUST three years in and the Guernsey Photography Festival 2012 could become another casualty of the global recession.

AMHERST Primary School students swept the board at this year’s Guernsey Photography Festival schools competition – winning first, second and third prizes.

Their gallery is a 60s caravan and their aim is to chart the quirkier side of life in contemporary Britain. Now Jan Williams and Chris Teasdale want to add Guernsey to the mix – with islanders’ help. Shaun Shackleton reports
