NURSES left out of pocket by the States’ new system for managing pay  have turned to their union for help.

NURSES feel like they have had to ‘beg for money’ after not receiving all they were due for December, a union representative has said.

A NURSES union representative has branded Health and Social Services’ decision to cancel 40 operations as ‘unacceptable’.

HEALTH and Social Services recruited more nurses last year than left, but it said this has no direct correlation with ward closures.
