AFTER lining up an entry in May’s Edinburgh Marathon, Steve Dawes will have domestic business to attend to as he uses Sunday’s Smokefree Guernsey 10-mile road race event as an early test of fitness.

STEVE DAWES was a surprise entrant and a comfortable winner of the latest FNB cross country event from Mike Wilesmith and Tristan Robilliard.  

ALTHOUGH conditions seemed perfect for Sunday’s Jersey Spartan Half Marathon, both men’s winner Steve Dawes and women’s champion Jo Gorrod admitted to finding the going tough.

STEVE DAWES emerged from a tactical race with another local cross-country victory at L’Ancresse.

THE second FNB Cross Country event at L’Ancresse drew another large field but Steve Dawes again ran out a clear winner.
