CHANGES to the Skipton Swimarathon have been a success, according to the organisers.

GUERNSEY’S Olympic hopeful Ian Powell kicked off the Swimarathon yesterday evening and, according to organisers, it was the best turnout they have seen so far.

HUNDREDS of islanders have already dived in for the 2010 Skipton Swimarathon.

THOSE who put a special effort into this year’s Swimarathon were commended at an award ceremony at Beau Sejour last night.
